New government will give utmost importance to creation of skilled workers for 4IR
The new government will give importance to the development of the skills of the youth of Bangladesh to supply 75 million skilled workers in the world for the fourth industrial revolution-4IR. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina conveyed such an instruction in the first party parliamentary session of the 12th National Parliament.
According to sources, the government will give utmost importance to training and skill development in frontier technology to develop smart workers of the fourth industrial revolution. To that end, in the meeting, the adoption of an action plan soon to deal with the economic crisis and other crises to create a smart and modern golden Bangladesh was given priority. It has been decided that after the formation of the Prime Minister's Cabinet, the strategy paper for the implementation of the action plan will be taken.
After taking the oath of parliament for the fourth time after the meeting on Wednesday afternoon, the Minister of State for Posts, Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technology said that our aim is to build a smart Bangladesh of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina in 2041 with smart citizens. He also said that after becoming a middle-income country through the implementation of Digital Bangladesh, the government has given importance to the merit-based employment of the youth to create the hunger and poverty-free Sonar Bangla of Bangabandhu's dream by implementing Smart Bangladesh.

According to the sources of the meeting, Awami League president Sheikh Hasina was again elected as the leader of the parliament in the parliamentary meeting. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader proposed Sheikh Hasina's name and Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton supported the proposal. Later, it was accepted unanimously. Similarly, Matia Chowdhury was nominated as Deputy Leader of Parliament and Noor Alam Chowdhury as Chief Whip.
